Mari Ørstavik

Mari is a Norwegian actress and filmmaker with a Bachelor of Arts in film directing. Her short films have received recognition, including her award-winning thesis film "QUEEN". In 2022, she wrote and directed several episodes of the new teen TV show "VGS", which premiered on Norway's national channel NRK.

As a director, Mari values collaboration and storytelling. She aims to bring to light the stories of those who are often overlooked. Mari’s acting background gives her a unique understanding of the actors' craft and contributes to her insight in working with them.

Mari is represented by Raa worldwide for all work, but is open to collaborate with other production companies as well.
